Current Classes

10 Weeks to 7 Months

Proper Socialization, introduction to Basic Manners, introduction to Loose Leash Walking, Calming, Jumping, Come and Place.

6 week class

The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test will be offered free to students during the last class.

8 Months & Older

This class teaches basic commands with IMPLIED Stay, Loose Leash Walking, Come, Leave-it, Jumping, Leash Pressure, Engagement, and Introducing distance, duration, and distractions.

6 week class

Periodically, the AKC CGC (Canine Good Citizen) Test will be offered free to students.

Prerequisite-Beginner Class

This class focuses on Impulse Control, Building Distance, Duration and Distractions to Basic commands.

Prerequisite-Basic Obedience

Learn the basics of Competition Obedience and Rally!  We will introduce focused heeling, fronts and finishes, stands, pivots, lateral movement, Rear-end awareness, and more! 

Prerequisite-Competition OB Beginner

Once you've learned the basics, we will focus on working through distractions, improving precision, and building motivation.

TEAMWORK!! AKC Rally is an Obedience based AKC sport that helps sharpen your dog's obedience skills all while strengthening your relationship! You and your canine partner will navigate through an obedience-based course performing what each sign requires.

Prerequisite - Advanced Competition/working towards Novice Title (CD)

AKC Open is the second level of Competition Obedience (CDX).  This level requires dumbbell retrieves, jumping and drop on recalls.  

Open to all ages (5 Week Class): 

This class will focus strictly on exercises that will teach your dog EVERYTHING good comes from YOU! You will make yourself your dog's focal point. The outside environment becomes less important to to your dog as you build engagement with your dog.

This class focuses only on walking nicely on a leash and how to accept friendly engagement. Learn how to cue your dog to approach a person in a calm manner and not to pull on a leash.

This class focuses on building a strong foundation to training your dog the Crate & Place command. Enjoy your dinners while your dog relaxes in their favorite place! We will help to make their crate and place a positive experience. We will introduce the tools on how to build duration while working through distractions.
