10 Weeks to 7 Months

In our puppy classes, we focus on proper socialization, introducing basic manners, loose leash walking, calming techniques, and addressing jumping behaviors, as well as teaching commands like 'come' and 'place'. 

This is a 7-week class designed to enhance your dog's obedience training skills.

Additionally, the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test will be offered for free to all students during the last class, providing a great opportunity to showcase your progress!

8 Months & Older

This class focuses on obedience training for dogs, teaching essential commands such as IMPLIED Stay, Loose Leash Walking, Come, Leave-it, Jumping, Leash Pressure, Engagement, and introducing concepts of distance, duration, and distractions. It is ideal for those looking to enhance their skills.

7 week class

AKC CGC (Canine Good Citizen) Test will periodically be offered free to students.

Prerequisite-Beginner Class

This class is designed to enhance impulse control and build skills in terms of distance, duration, and distractions related to basic commands. It serves as an introduction to obedience training for dogs, laying the groundwork for more advanced competition obedience training. Additionally, it complements puppy socialization classes by fostering essential training behaviors.

6 week class

Prerequisite-Basic Obedience

Discover the essentials of competition obedience and Rally! In our obedience training for dogs, we will introduce critical skills such as focused heeling, fronts and finishes, stands, pivots, lateral movement, rear-end awareness, and much more.

Prerequisite-Competition OB Beginner

Once you've learned the basics of competition obedience training for dogs, we will focus on working through distractions, improving precision, and building motivation. This will prepare you for competition obedience training.

TEAMWORK!! AKC Rally is an obedience-based AKC sport that enhances your dog's obedience skills, all while strengthening your relationship! You and your canine partner will navigate through an obedience-based course, performing the tasks required by each sign. This is a great way to prepare for competition obedience training and build a strong bond with your dog.

Prerequisite - Advanced Competition/working towards Novice Title (CD)

AKC Open is the second level of competition obedience training (CDX). This level requires dogs to perform tasks such as dumbbell retrieves, jumping, and dropping on recalls.

 This obedience training for dogs class will focus strictly on exercises that will teach your dog EVERYTHING good comes from YOU! You will make yourself your dog's focal point, shifting the emphasis away from the outside environment. As you build engagement with your dog, this will enhance their obedience skills.

This class focuses on walking nicely on a leash and accepting friendly engagement. As part of our comprehensive competition obedience training, you'll learn how to cue your dog to approach a person in a calm manner and avoid pulling on the leash.

This class focuses on teaching the Crate & Place command. Enjoy your dinners while your dog relaxes in their favorite spot! We aim to ensure that their crate and place become positive experiences. Additionally, we will introduce tools to help build duration while managing distractions, similar to techniques used in competition obedience training.
